Jasper, Lionskin (Tumbled)

Carrying all the colours of a lion’s skin, these stones shimmer in the light. Lionskin is a new name that has been given to silicified Golden Tiger Eye which has a chatoyancy similar to Pietersite.
These particular Lionskin tumbles are mostly smooth, but do have some dents and pitting. Some are filled with the golden
chatoyant fibres while others are a blend of quartz and fibres.
