These beautiful agatised shells come from the Deccan Plateau, on the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains. They are of the species Platyphysa Princepi, and formed 65 million years ago.
It is now rare to find these shells totally intact. They are generally found in a disjointed fashion.

Country of Origin: Ken River, Central India
Size: 45mm – 55mm however, we do also have larger and smaller specimens of these. Please email us if you wish to purchase a different size.
