Vesuvianite (Crystal)

Rare Vesuvianite crystals. Vesuvianite gets its name from Mt. Vesuvius in Italy, where the gemstone was originally discovered. It is also known as idocrase, but that name is generally used only for gem quality.

Small: 25mm x 10mm, crystalline but not as defined as the other crystals listed here
Medium: 18mm x 15mm and 20mm x 12mm, while not complete, both showing the crystal structure
Large: 25mm x 23mm, this crystal isn’t quite complete, but almost
Metaphysical Attributes: Vesuvianite has been used to help release pent up anger by helping one find balance in their emotions. It not only helps to  level out emotions, but can help one think level-headedly by clearing negative or repetitive thoughts.
