Tektite, Rizalite (Mineral)

Rizalite is the name given to tektites that fall in the Philippines. Rizalites are  part of a bigger family of tektites called Indochinite, all of which share the same chemical composition as other tektites in the broader Indochinite tektite field, which covers parts of Southeast Asia.
Tektites are glassy objects of Earth material that have been melted by meteorite impact, splashed up into the atmosphere, and fallen back to Earth, due to gravity.
