Stibnite, Crystal Cluster (3) (Crystal)
$59.00
Stibnite is also known as antimonite. It is a grey mineral, with a distinctive metallic luster, composed of antimony and sulphur. It is the primary ore from which antimony is extracted. Historically, it was used in cosmetics, fireworks, and percussion caps, and, during World War II, it was a critical component for manufacturing bullets. This specimen is uniquely different from most Romanian stibnites mined these days as the crystals exhibit much broader spear-shaped form, the classic style you see in old books but so seldom in specimens from this location taken out in the later half of the 1900s.
Country of Origin:Baia Sprie (Felsobanya), Romania
Size: 55mm x 35mm
Metaphysical Properties: Stibnite is considered a powerful stone of transformation and protection that helps align all chakras, attracts abundance, and provides grounding.
It is important to be aware that stibnite is a toxic mineral containing antimony, so it should never be used to make elixirs, and should be handled carefully with appropriate protective measures.
