Specular Hematite (Lacquered)

Specular Hematite is a metallic, silvery-grey variety of hematite known for its brilliant, flaky texture. It consists of aggregated, platy crystals that sparkle in light. It leaves a distinct reddish-brown streak, characteristic of all hematite varieties.
Because of the softness of this mineral normal polishing methods are too harsh so these pieces have been lacquered on the top but mostly natural on the underneath face.
