Obsidian, Midnight Lace, Tower (1) (Polished)

Nicely polished tower made from this newly discovered, rare material. It is black Obsidian with stripes. It has formed from rapidly cooled silica-rich lava where mineral crystallisation was prevented, leaving it with ribbon-like or smoky striped patterns that become prominently translucent when held up to a light source.
This piece is a thin tower. It stands independently, however, has a very slight lean. It was too good to pass by, though, with its beautiful stripy pattern.
