Garnet, Spessartine Cluster (Crystal)

A small cluster of Spessartine (or Spessartite) Garnet, a fiery sunny-orange colour, due to an iron content. It has a hardness of 7.5, making it popular for polishing, and has a high refractive index.  These crystals vibrate at a very high rate.
