A belemnite fossil is the internal bullet-shaped, skeleton, called a Rostrum, of an extinct squid-like cephalopod mollusc.
Size:
Medium: 50mm – 55mm x 5mm – 6mm
Large: 65mm – 70mm x 10mm – 12mm
Age: Belemnites have been found from the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods
